2018 Fantasy Football Rankings: Best QBs According To Madden 19

Madden 19 Tom Brady - 2018 Fantasy Football QBs

So you’re having a hard time choosing a quarterback to lead your team in 2018 fantasy football? Fret not, Madden NFL 19 has got you covered! We simulated the entire 2018 season and recorded the stats to predict who the top quarterbacks for the year will be.

We turned injuries off and had no input on the rosters or actual games themselves. We simply simulated all 16 games and recorded their stats at the end of the year. It’s worth mentioning that not many of the quarterbacks posted significant rushing stats, so we did not include them. These points projects and rankings are based specifically on passing stats. The total points projection for the year was done by standard league scoring:

  • 25 yards = 1
  • 1 TD = 4
  • 1 INT = -2

According to Madden 19‘s simulation, these are your best options at quarterback for the 2018 fantasy football season:

Well, there are certainly some surprises! I think many of us would agree that Aaron Rodgers is easily the best quarterback on the board, but to see Blake Bortles perform so well is a bit shocking. 43 Tds to just 9 Ints seems a bit unrealistic for him, but maybe his experience last season has turned him into a new QB. Matt Ryan and Tom Brady in the top 5 is no surprise, but rookie Josh Allen rounding out the group is probably the biggest shocker. For him to outperform the likes of Drew Brees, Cam Newton, Ben Roethlisberger, and Philip Rivers would be mighty impressive. Also, to see Andrew Luck, coming off years of injury rehab, find his way into the top 15 is exciting!

Do you agree with Madden 19‘s projections for top fantasy quarterbacks for 2018?
