The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is quickly approaching and Activision and Treyarch announced today when you can begin pre-loading the game.

For those playing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, pre-loading will being on Thursday, November 5 at 9:00 p.m. PT. If you’re playing on PC, pre-loading starts on November 10 at 10:00 a.m. PT.

Pre-loading is only available for those who pre-ordered the game digitally, so be sure to do so if you want to get a head start downloading the game. And given its file size, you’re going to want to do so sooner rather than later.

According to Treyarch, you’ll need the following free space on your hard drive to pre-load:

  • PlayStation 4: 95GB
  • Xbox One :93 GB

Once you’ve got the game on console, you can choose to uninstall specific game mode packs, such as for Campaign or Zombies, in order to reduce the game’s overall file size.

On PC, you’ll need 35GB for multiplayer and 82GB for the full game. You’ll also be able to choose to install specific game mode packs to save on the overall file size.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches on November 13, 2020.
