Target has confirmed that the PlayStation 5 will be available for purchase on launch day, November 12. The PS5 has been sold out virtually everywhere since pre-orders went live last month but if you’re looking to snag one before the holiday season, there’s a chance you can do so.
Although Target says the PlayStation 5 will be available in-store on November 12, they clarified that this will be for Order Pickup or Drive Up orders. What this means is you’ll have to purchase the PS5 online first and then go to the store to pick it up.
It sounds like the PS5 will eventually make their way to store shelves but that likely won’t be until after the initial holiday rush.
Either way, if you want to buy a PS5, be sure to refresh Target.com on November 12. Remember, there are two models available, the standard PS5 with a hard drive for $499.99 and the PS5 Digital Edition for $399.99. The latter tends to sell out quickly but most likely both will be gone in seconds.
