Available today, The Sims FreePlay Pregnancy Update finally introduces the ability for your Sims to get pregnant.
EA has announced that pregnancy is finally coming to The Sims FreePlay. Revealed during the recent live stream, today’s update – dubbed ‘The Pregnancy Update’ – adds one of the Sims community’s most-requested features. Check out the trailer below:
“It’s time to nurture a mother through the journey, challenges, and changes of pregnancy, creating never-before-told stories in The Sims FreePlay,” EA announced.
More than just a baby bump, the update introduces a number of events and discovery quests to help you experience the journey of pregnancy. “The Journey Begins” event will take you through the different stages of pregnancy and throw a bunch of relevant tasks your way so that you can experience the full journey to motherhood.
There’s also the simple “Pregnancy” option that still allows you to experience the gameplay mechanics of pregnancy within The Sims FreePlay but without all of the tasks. This is found in the Maternity Store along with a handful of maternity and nursery objects for your Sims and their homes.
See your Sim’s baby bump grow over three trimesters. Mix and match a variety of maternity wear– specially designed for your Sim’s growing belly. Nurture your pregnancy by attending yoga and aerobics classes. Prepare the perfect nursery with a variety of super cute, themed collections from the brand-new Maternity Store. Plan a beautiful baby shower for your new arrival!
